Participation

The validation process compares vocational skills with the requirements of a vocational qualification. The validation process is offered in around 30 vocational qualifications.

Participation in the validation process may be appropriate for persons who

• are at least 25 years old and
• do not have a vocational qualification or work in a profession other than the one they have learnt, and
• have several years of professional experience.

The validation procedure is conducted in the German language.  Participants should therefore have a basic knowledge of German and be familiar with the technical terminology of their field of work.
